Final Kaka’ako Community Dwellings design. Programs implemented which influenced the design: green roof/ grazing deck, vertical farming with plants goats chickens, rain water catchment, SWAC, Harvest Restaurant, Community markets, and solar panels in a tube. 21 units each with gardening space on their lanais. Solar tubes can be sculptural and can be placed on the commercial building, would have enough space for about 4,500 sqft of solar panels, enough to power all of the units.

“Garden Crossing”
Pedestrian bridge for the purpose of:
-Bringing people to the University, giving them a more enjoyable experience
-Shape based on site analysis of circulation routes and overall aesthetics
-Alleviates heavy traffic conditions which pedestrians add to in mornings going towards Manoa and afternoons leaving Manoa
-Light flowing form over the site and overall slope
-An appearance of a floating garden when walking across along side treetops and flowering plants on the bridge
